Cassandra Moore

    Cassandra Moore was born in Ohio but raised in Cameroon, Africa for over thirteen years.  She is as Cameroonian as she is American.  She currently is in her final year of high school at Kent Roosevelt.  Before attending university in Chicago, she will be joining the OM ship ministries (an international Christian organization that has ships that travel around the world providing cheap literature and free development work and entertainment) for one year.  Cassandra speaks both English and French and has had the opportunity to have visited many countries around the world.
    Cassandra's theme in her photography show is people.  No matter where someone lives, what their background is; no matter how different everyone is to each other -- we all are people.  around the world we are tied together by our humanity.  Cassandra found early on while just starting photography that she could use her camera to get a glimpse into someone's true being; To capture their vulnerability.
    This is Cassandra's first photography show but hopes to continue her photography passion into the future.  She is looking forward to using the next five years while on the ship and in university to further develop her skills and be challenged to learn new ones.
